Job description

Role summary

This position supports the organisation’s marketing function by helping deliver initiatives, projects, and activities that align with wider marketing plans and business goals.

Key duties

  • Take an active role in marketing activities, business innovation efforts, product visibility initiatives, and campaign delivery.
  • Review personal performance regularly, ask for feedback promptly, and pursue development opportunities when needed.
  • Create content that is accurate, relevant, and aligned to marketing and communication objectives.
  • Coordinate and oversee the delivery of event-related projects in line with business, marketing, and events plans.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with external suppliers and partners, and monitor the quality and final output of their work in line with marketing governance.
  • Ensure all work remains within approved budget limits and provide reporting on financial delivery matters.
  • Share timely, accurate information with internal stakeholders and broadcast media where required.
  • Make sure all design standards and approval criteria are followed when developing marketing material.
  • Work in compliance with legislative, audit, and other required marketing processes.
  • Provide efficient administrative support through organised planning, reporting, and regular updates of related information.
  • Help implement multiple marketing projects by confirming business requirements are met and submitting progress updates.

Qualifications and experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related subject is required.
  • Between 3 and 5 years of experience in marketing, advertising, or media is needed.
  • Practical experience handling sponsorships and campaigns is required.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability are important.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills are expected.

Competencies

  • Campaign coordination: supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring of marketing campaigns.
  • Content management: preparing, editing, and publishing marketing material across different channels.
  • Brand stewardship: ensuring all communication follows brand standards and guidelines.
  • Digital marketing awareness: understanding social media, email marketing, and online campaign activity.
