About the Role

Singtel is seeking a Market Research Associate who is enthusiastic about market intelligence, customer insight, and data-led decision-making. This position works closely with cross-functional teams to surface the customer perspective, turn research into practical business insights, and help guide strategic choices. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical thinking with stakeholder management and the ability to present complex findings in a clear, compelling way.

What You’ll Do

  • Build research plans that align with business objectives by clarifying the real questions, selecting the right research approach, gathering and analysing available information, and drawing conclusions that support key decisions.
  • Coordinate with external market research agencies, including briefing them, reviewing and comparing proposals, and supporting the execution of external studies.
  • Track project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure agencies provide useful, insight-rich outputs that answer the business problem.
  • Create questionnaires using a cloud-based research platform.
  • Keep an eye on important market segments such as travel to and from Singapore, foreign workers, prepaid services, and roaming trends.
  • Develop strong narrative summaries from data, organise large volumes of information into clear insights, and share recommendations effectively with business teams, analysts, and other stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

  • A university qualification in Marketing, Statistics, Business Management, or a related discipline.
  • Exposure through internship experience in business analytics, market research, or marketing.
  • A proactive, highly motivated, and curious mindset with a willingness to learn and contribute ideas.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort presenting findings and collaborating with agency partners.
  • Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal abilities, plus the capacity to work across multiple teams and handle several priorities at once.
  • Advanced capability in Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to pick up new online tools and platforms as needed.
  • Preferred knowledge in Statistics, SQL, Python, and Business Intelligence tools.
