Role Overview
The Account Manager will focus on strengthening customer relationships, finding growth opportunities, and supporting the delivery of ICT solutions for corporate clients. The role involves working closely with solution and sales teams to offer relevant and cost-effective services across local, managed, and hosting offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships at multiple levels to support revenue growth and customer retention.
- Look beyond existing arrangements to identify new business opportunities and areas of collaboration.
- Work with Solution Managers and Sales Specialists to recommend suitable and cost-effective ICT solutions for corporate customers.
- Assess corporate customers' ICT and hosting requirements through regular engagement.
- Spot reciprocal business opportunities and partnership areas when they arise.
- Provide a single point of contact for ICT-related customer needs across Singtel services.
- Complete tasks and support requests from the Account Director in a timely and effective manner.
- Handle pre-sales and post-sales queries, work orders, and commercial documentation promptly and maintain proper records.
- Carry out tasks assigned by the Sales leader efficiently and on time.
- Engage with customers through presentations, proposals, and reports.
Requirements
- A minimum degree is required.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the ICT industry or account management across industries, with a strong sales record.
- Ability to sell a broad portfolio of IT, telecommunications, and cybersecurity solutions.
- Strong command of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas.
- Experience managing a large number of accounts is a strong advantage.
- Self-motivated, energetic, resourceful, creative, and capable of demonstrating leadership.
- Skilled at building positive customer relationships at all levels.
- Able to deliver polished sales presentations, proposals, and reports.
- Proactive with a strong sense of ownership.
Work Environment
This is a full-time, onsite role based in Singapore, Singapore.
