Job description

Role overview

We are seeking a Lobby Lounge Supervisor for a full-time, on-site position in Doha, Qatar. This role focuses on keeping lounge operations running smoothly, supporting excellent guest service, and helping the team work together effectively.

Key duties

  • Coordinate the team so service standards are met and guests receive attentive support.
  • Check employee grooming and uniform presentation, and correct any issues when needed.
  • Handle opening and closing routines, including arranging supplies, equipment, cleaning tasks, and securing the area.
  • Review storage spaces to ensure proper organization, FIFO practices, and cleanliness.
  • Carry out stock counts and request supplies when needed.
  • Observe dining and lounge areas for seating availability, service quality, guest safety, and overall comfort.
  • Raise maintenance work requests when repairs are required.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, training, coaching, evaluating, and disciplining staff.
  • Act as a model employee and the first contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door process.
  • Follow company policies, safety rules, and security procedures, and report incidents or unsafe conditions promptly.
  • Complete required safety training and certifications.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, protect confidential information, and safeguard company property.
  • Greet guests according to brand standards, respond to their needs proactively, and assist guests with disabilities.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers and guests.
  • Build positive working relationships and contribute to shared team goals.
  • Support quality standards and recommend improvements that boost efficiency, productivity, safety, quality, and cost control.
  • Perform the role’s physical requirements, including extended standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in confined or elevated spaces.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • No license or certification is required for the role.
