Role Overview

This position focuses on ensuring the safe and reliable operation of plant electrical systems. The Lead Technician will spearhead and execute effective electrical maintenance, support continuous production, and mentor other technicians during maintenance tasks.

Key Accountabilities

• Spearhead and execute preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and systems to guarantee safe and dependable plant operations.
• Diagnose intricate electrical malfunctions and orchestrate prompt repairs to minimize production interruptions.
• Monitor equipment performance, pinpoint recurring issues, and propose corrective measures for ongoing enhancement.
• Assist in and supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical components and machinery.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, maintenance protocols, permit stipulations, and company policies.
• Maintain meticulous records of maintenance activities, inspections, work reports, and shift handovers.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance departments to optimize work planning and ensure seamless production.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to junior technicians during maintenance operations, fostering knowledge exchange within the team.

Working Hours

The standard working hours for this role are 8 hours per day.
