About the Role
Pilot Flying J is seeking a dedicated Janitorial Maintenance team member to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of our Monte Creek, British Columbia travel center. This role is crucial in providing an excellent experience for our diverse range of guests, from professional drivers to everyday commuters. Responsibilities
- Maintain the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the store premises.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize shower and restroom facilities.
- Manage the washing, loading, and unloading of towels for shower services.
- Conduct general repairs and maintenance tasks for the store.
- Collect and dispose of all trash from around the travel center.
- Deliver exceptional guest service by ensuring facilities are consistently well-maintained.
Requirements
- Must be a highly motivated self-starter with a proactive approach.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and remaining on your feet for most of the workday.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, days, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous experience in a similar maintenance or janitorial role is preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment and basic repair knowledge is a plus.
