About the opportunity

This position is part of the CIO Office and supports a team focused on delivering dependable and timely investment performance reporting, portfolio analytics, investment monitoring, and regulatory as well as management reporting for insurance portfolios. The role offers exposure to a multi-asset portfolio and contributes to investment governance, performance analysis for decision support, and investment solution and product development work.

What you will do

  • Prepare high-quality portfolio analysis, performance attribution, dashboards, and asset-class insights for management and committee reporting.
  • Partner with stakeholders across teams to produce portfolio analytics and governance reports for internal committees and other forums.
  • Track adherence to investment mandates, SAA/TAA ranges, risk limits, and governance standards while maintaining complete and accurate investment data.
  • Strengthen governance through recurring internal control reviews and mandate monitoring.
  • Produce accurate, timely, and complete reporting submissions and packages for regulators, auditors, and other external parties.
  • Use investment analytics to support product development by improving risk-adjusted returns and asset-liability positioning.
  • Assess the impact of regulatory updates, internal policy changes, and revisions to the investment governance framework.
  • Work with cross-functional partners to ensure readiness and smooth implementation of new governance or regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with financial controls, contract administration, and other operational tasks as needed.
  • Help improve investment operations, analytics tools, reporting processes, and internal control workflows.

Education and experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, financial engineering, data analytics, statistics, mathematics, economics, or actuarial science is required.
  • Professional credentials such as CFA or FRM, or a relevant master’s qualification, are considered an advantage.
  • Relevant experience in asset management or the insurance sector is preferred.
  • Prior work in investment performance reporting or risk analysis will be beneficial.
  • Applicants should be able to manage several priorities in a structured, control-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and economic capital measures is preferred, or the willingness to develop it.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, communication, and detail-orientation skills are important.
  • Hands-on use of Aladdin, Bloomberg PORT/AIM, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint is needed.
  • Experience with Eagle IBOR, data visualization tools, and Python would be an advantage.
