Investment Associate

About the Role

A dynamic renewable energy investment platform is seeking an Investment Associate to bolster its team in Dublin. This position is crucial for supporting acquisitions and development-stage investments within European infrastructure technologies. The role provides comprehensive exposure to the entire investment lifecycle, from initial origination and financial modeling to due diligence, transaction execution, and project finance. You will collaborate closely with experienced investment professionals.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
• Develop and scrutinize financial models for acquisitions and valuations.
• Contribute to the commercial, technical, and legal due diligence processes.
• Aid in the execution of transactions, including acquisitions, joint ventures, and financings.
• Prepare essential investment documentation for internal committee reviews.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, ideally within Investment Banking, Big 4 (Deals/Valuations), or renewable energy development.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Demonstrated experience with transactions in the infrastructure or energy sectors.
• A degree in Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
