Job description

About the role

This role sits within Google in Singapore and supports the Regulatory Affairs function as a central operations partner for work across the regulatory lifecycle. The position works across teams such as Public Policy, Compliance, Legal, Engineering, Finance, and product to help manage highly sensitive investigations and incidents.

As a Program Manager, you will coordinate complex, cross-functional work from end to end. The job involves aligning stakeholders, organizing timelines, identifying risks, and keeping everyone informed as priorities move across offices, regions, and time zones.

Eligibility and work authorization

Applicants who already have the legal right to work in Singapore will be prioritized. Candidates who would need Google to sponsor a visa are not the preferred match for this role.

Minimum qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree, or equivalent hands-on professional experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in program management or project management.

Preferred qualifications

  • Ability to think strategically, connect issues across teams, and judge business priorities well.
  • Strong capability to handle several projects and deadlines at the same time.
  • Comfort with uncertainty and the ability to influence outcomes without formal authority.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset with an eye for anticipating risks early.
  • Highly structured and organized approach to managing complex cases, stakeholders, and urgent timelines.
  • Ability to use AI tools to streamline workflows, support lower-risk resolutions with oversight, and work with data visualizations.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate operations and staffing for intake, review, and routing of investigations and incidents.
  • Support high-priority matters such as crises and sensitive escalations, including cross-functional coordination and consensus building.
  • Work with investigation and incident leaders to establish company-wide standards and operating processes.
  • Manage escalations by collaborating across Regulatory Affairs and partner teams to move toward practical solutions.

Equal opportunity

Google states that it is an equal opportunity workplace and affirmative action employer. Hiring decisions are made without regard to race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, or veteran status. The company also considers qualified applicants with criminal histories where allowed by law. Accommodation support is available for applicants with disabilities or special needs.
