About the role
This position is focused on leading sales efforts for app advertising solutions in a fast-moving digital marketing environment. The role combines team leadership, strategic client management, and commercial growth ownership across Google’s app sales business.
You will guide account executives, strengthen relationships with senior customer and partner stakeholders, and help advertisers achieve their business and marketing goals using Google’s advertising products. The job calls for strong commercial judgment, a deep understanding of the app ecosystem, and the ability to work closely with internal cross-functional teams to deliver measurable client outcomes.
Google Customer Solutions teams act as trusted advisors for small and medium-sized businesses, helping them grow through effective advertising. The broader mission of the team is to support customers, partners, and sellers while driving innovation in advertising.
Minimum qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent level of hands-on professional experience.
- At least 11 years of experience in sales across advertising, marketing, consulting, media, business development, or advertising agencies.
- Practical exposure to app marketers and the wider app ecosystem.
- Prior experience leading people or managing a team.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience developing relationships with senior stakeholders inside and outside the company, especially in advertising or marketing settings.
- Background in digital campaign management, or in coaching others on it, especially in mobile ads or comparable products.
- Experience working with large, complex organizations and communicating effectively with senior executives.
- Ability to oversee business operations, including portfolio management, team development, KPI tracking, and execution.
- Capability to model and coach strong leadership behaviors such as executive engagement, thoughtful questioning, and objection handling.
Compensation and benefits
For Ireland, the stated pay range is €132,000 to €136,000, along with a 75% bonus target, equity, and benefits. Final compensation depends on job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
