Role overview
We are seeking a Commercial Loss Adjuster based in Geelong, Victoria to independently assess commercial property insurance claims. In this role, you will investigate reported losses, identify what caused them, assess liability, and determine the financial value of the claim.

Key responsibilities
- Visit sites and evaluate claims using the company’s commercial processes, systems, and technology.
- Handle a claim portfolio from first notification through to final settlement, in line with internal policies and procedures.
- Examine the cause and scope of loss while maintaining efficiency and a strong customer focus.
- Check whether the reported loss is covered under the policy’s terms and conditions.
- Provide loss-adjusting services that meet or exceed client service expectations.
- Keep clients and customers updated with early findings and possible next steps.
- Estimate repair or replacement costs and set the reserve amount accordingly.
Candidate profile
- Prior experience in adjusting or managing commercial claims is required.
- A valid driver’s licence is necessary because field visits are part of the job.
- Strong commitment to high-quality service and regular, clear communication with customers and clients is important.
