Role overview

Iceland Foods is looking for a Home Delivery Driver in Southend-On-Sea. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and interacting with customers while out on the road. Pay and benefits

The hourly pay for this role is £13.71. What the job involves

In this role, you’ll help make sure orders reach customers in excellent condition while maintaining safe and efficient delivery standards. You may also be asked to support the store team when needed.

  • Load the van safely, including handling heavy items and using proper manual-handling techniques
  • Follow safe driving practices at all times
  • Carry out vehicle checks before and during use
  • Make sure food is delivered in the best possible condition
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service during each drop-off
  • Assist in-store when required
  • Work on your own and manage your time effectively
  • Be flexible to work varying shifts between 6am and 11pm

Eligibility and requirements

  • A full driving licence held for at least 3 years
  • No more than 6 penalty points on the licence
  • Confidence working independently

  • Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and loading
