Role overview

Iceland Foods is looking for a Home Delivery Driver in Peterlee to help deliver customer orders and represent the brand in a friendly, professional way. This position is suited to someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and interacting directly with customers.

The hourly pay for this role is £13.71.

What the role involves

  • Loading the van safely, including following correct manual handling practices for heavier items.
  • Driving in a safe and responsible manner at all times.
  • Carrying out checks on the delivery van before use.
  • Making sure groceries reach customers in the best possible condition.
  • Offering helpful and professional service to customers.
  • Supporting store operations when needed.
  • Managing time well and working effectively without close supervision.
  • Being available for shift patterns that may change, with working hours between 6am and 11pm.
