About the Role

Join our team as a Home Care Worker in the Mornington area, providing essential home support to elderly community members, helping them maintain independence and improve wellbeing.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive hourly pay at $41.08 plus superannuation and paid kilometers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform household tasks including cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, bed making, and laundry duties such as washing, folding, and ironing.
  • Prepare meals and assist with grocery shopping.
  • Provide social support and transport clients to community or lifestyle activities.
  • Offer respite to family carers, enabling them time for other commitments.

  • Passionate about delivering outstanding service and care.
  • Skilled at building positive relationships with clients and their families.
  • Committed to assisting elderly individuals to live independently at home as long as possible.
  • Resilient and able to manage challenges such as client mood fluctuations or traffic delays without losing focus.
  • Comfortable working autonomously, problem solving day-to-day issues, and knowing when to seek managerial support.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid Australian Driver's Licence and have your own insured, roadworthy vehicle.
  • Interest in community or aged care; prior experience preferred but not mandatory.
