Role overview

Key duties

• Follow all flight procedures and checklists in line with civil aviation rules, company operations manuals, standard operating procedures, and security requirements.

• Confirm that the aircraft is airworthy and that all required paperwork, equipment, and operating approvals are current and available.
• Complete detailed pre-flight preparation, including mission planning, risk review, weather assessment, and briefing before departure.

Qualifications and experience

• A current AW169 type rating is required.
• At least 1000 hours on type is preferred.
• A minimum of 3000 total helicopter flying hours is required.
• At least 500 hours of Pilot-in-Command experience is required.
• Minimum 100 PIC hours on type.
• Prior experience in multi-crew helicopter operations is needed.
• Experience in VIP or VVIP helicopter operations is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, operating procedures, and safety management principles is expected.
• English fluency is required.
• Good communication ability is essential.
• Strong leadership capability is important.
• The role requires the ability to work in complex and high-pressure environments.
