Helicopter Captain - AW139

Role Overview

This position is for a Helicopter Captain responsible for operating helicopters safely and efficiently in support of VIP and VVIP transport missions. The role calls for a consistently high level of compliance, professionalism, and attention to operational detail.

Key Duties

• Follow all required operational procedures and checklists in line with civil aviation regulations, company operations manuals, standard operating procedures, and security rules.
• Apply every necessary safety measure throughout all stages of the flight.
• Confirm that the aircraft is airworthy and that all mandatory documents, equipment, and approvals are current and available.
• Carry out detailed pre-flight preparation, including mission planning, risk review, weather assessment, and crew briefing.
• Assign tasks to crew members and other appropriate personnel as needed.
• Promote strong teamwork and make sure all stakeholders have the information they need to carry out their responsibilities safely and efficiently.

Qualifications and Experience

• Must hold a current AW139 type rating.
• Preference is given to candidates with at least 1,000 hours on type.
• At least 3,000 total helicopter flight hours are required.
• A minimum of 500 hours of Pilot-in-Command experience is required.
• At least 100 hours of Pilot-in-Command time on type is required.
• Experience working in multi-crew helicopter operations is required.
• Prior VIP or VVIP helicopter operation experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of aviation regulations, operational procedures, and safety management principles is expected.
• English proficiency is required.
• Good communication skills are essential.
• Leadership ability is important for this role.
• The candidate must be able to perform effectively in complex and high-pressure environments.
