Floral Designer

Join Marina Bay Sands and apply your floral design expertise in a high-end hospitality environment where craftsmanship, presentation, and guest experience matter. This role focuses on keeping floral displays fresh, elegant, and consistently up to standard across outlets and events.

Key responsibilities

• Keep all floral arrangements and displays looking fresh and in excellent condition.
• Make sure flowers for outlets and deliveries are prepared and delivered on schedule.
• Accept incoming flower deliveries and check that the blooms meet quality expectations.
• Contribute new floral concepts and preparation ideas to the Supervisor, Assistant Manager, and Manager.
• Plan flower arrangements ahead of time while keeping costs as low as possible without lowering quality.
• Help implement new floral display concepts and follow through on changes.
• Keep the floral workshop tidy and ensure flowers offered for sale remain fresh and attractively presented.
• Build positive working relationships with other departments and keep leadership informed of guest or interdepartmental feedback.
• Promote safety and accident prevention, including proper training in floral tools, lifting methods, and other potentially hazardous work practices.
• Track inventory levels for materials and equipment.
• Support daily supply ordering and financial reporting.
• Allocate tasks to Guest Service Agents and Senior Guest Service Agents when needed.
• Handle ad-hoc assignments as required.
• Complete any other tasks directed by the Supervisor, Assistant Manager, or Manager.

Requirements

• Secondary school education with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Prior floral experience in a hotel, resort, or conference environment is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience working in international luxury hotel brands or similarly relevant settings.
• Comfortable working shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Able to stand for long periods during work hours.
