Job description

About the role

This position sits within the valet operations team at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. The role focuses on cash handling, guest assistance, and smooth coordination of valet and self-parking transactions while helping maintain a high service standard in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee the hotel and casino valet cashier stations.
  • Process valet and self-parking payments and related transactions quickly and accurately through the POS system.
  • Prepare and submit cashier documentation needed for revenue audit checks.
  • Deliver service that aligns with departmental audit expectations and contribute to team KPIs.
  • Respond to questions from guests about valet, self-parking, and other related matters.
  • Follow departmental plans and operational instructions as required.
  • Keep equipment functioning properly and ensure the necessary supplies are available.
  • Spot irregularities and report them promptly to the Valet Captains for action.
  • Support colleagues with additional operational or departmental tasks when needed.
  • Carry out other duties assigned by the Valet Captains.

Requirements

  • No formal education is required.
  • Experience in customer service or hospitality will be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with POS systems is helpful.
  • A service-minded, guest-focused approach is expected.
  • You should be polite, pleasant, and maintain a positive attitude.
  • The role requires someone who is responsible, proactive, and willing to take initiative.
  • You must be comfortable working in a diverse team environment.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • You should be able to handle pressure and work effectively in a busy environment.
  • The job involves long periods of standing and outdoor work in humid conditions.
  • Basic knowledge of Singapore attractions and places of interest is preferred.
  • You must be open to rotating shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and overnight shifts, as well as public holidays.
