Starbucks is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support its Global Supply Chain organization in Nashville, Tennessee. In this position, you will provide high-level administrative support to the SVP and Chief Procurement Officer, helping keep a large and complex business function running smoothly. The role calls for strong discretion, sound judgment, excellent organization, and the ability to stay effective in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities.

You will work as a dependable partner to executive leadership, handling sensitive communications, coordinating complex schedules, and supporting the rhythm of a global organization. This position is best suited for someone who can operate with professionalism, resilience, and initiative while reflecting Starbucks mission and values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the SVP, Chief Procurement Officer and their leadership group with discretion, professionalism, and strong interpersonal judgment.
  • Handle confidential information carefully, including executive mail, leadership communications, documents, and discussions, while deciding what can be shared and with whom.
  • Use practical judgment to make thoughtful choices when complete direction is not available and align actions with business priorities and company values.
  • Coordinate day-to-day administrative work such as calendar management, domestic and international travel, invoice processing, expense handling, and related support tasks.
  • Take a proactive, solutions-focused approach while maintaining accountability and integrity in every aspect of the role.
  • Partner closely with the senior executive assistant for Global Supply Chain and with other assistants across the business to ensure smooth coordination and enterprise alignment.
  • Anticipate executive needs by understanding the business cadence, prioritizing tasks, and sharing critical information at the right time.
  • Plan and organize leadership meetings, quarterly reviews, offsites, and team forums, including room setup, venue coordination, and audiovisual support for both in-person and virtual events.
  • Manage travel arrangements within policy requirements and proactively address details that support safety, efficiency, and continuity.
  • Stay connected with the executive’s direct reports to help maintain aligned priorities and open communication.
  • Interact comfortably with senior leaders, external collaborators, suppliers, and broader internal or external networks.
  • Contribute as a mentor and leader in the administrative community, helping strengthen team capability and culture when needed.

Requirements

  • 7 to 9 years of progressive administrative experience supporting senior or executive-level leaders.
  • 7 to 9 years of experience supporting executive-level management in complex, fast-paced operational environments.
  • Advanced skill with Microsoft Office, including expert-level proficiency in Outlook.
  • Ability to understand business priorities broadly, think at an enterprise level, and balance leader needs with wider organizational impacts.
  • Strong organizational ability, prioritization skills, problem-solving capability, and technology fluency.
  • High professionalism, integrity, flexibility, and comfort working with ambiguity.
  • Willingness to work onsite four days per week in Nashville, TN.
