Job description
Job Purpose
The organization is looking for a seasoned ERP Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant to help deliver, improve, and sustain Oracle SCM Cloud solutions. This position centers on collecting and translating business needs, setting up Oracle SCM capabilities, supporting full ERP supply chain workflows, and partnering with stakeholders to drive adoption and better processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, review, and record business needs connected to supply chain operations.
- Configure and support Oracle Fusion SCM components such as Procurement, Inventory Management, Order Management, Service Procurement, Supplier Management, and Sourcing.
- Contribute to complete SCM ERP delivery activities, including requirement gathering, process mapping, solution configuration, testing, data migration, and go-live assistance.
- Assess current business processes and convert them into practical Oracle ERP solutions that can scale.
- Coordinate with business teams, technical specialists, and external vendors to troubleshoot issues and support improvements.
- Work on integration touchpoints between SCM and other ERP areas including Finance, HR, and Manufacturing.
- Create functional documents, process diagrams, test scenarios, user manuals, and training materials.
- Lead workshops, user training, UAT activities, and post-deployment support.
- Assist with reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and analytics tied to supply chain performance.
- Support ongoing process enhancement while maintaining ERP governance and compliance standards.
Requirements
- Practical, hands-on experience with Oracle SCM Cloud is required.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain operations, including Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, and Demand & Supply Planning.
- Prior involvement in end-to-end Oracle SCM ERP implementations and post-live support.
- Solid capability in data analysis, SQL, and BI/reporting tools such as OTBI, OBIEE, BOBJ, along with advanced Excel-based analysis.
- Ability to run workshops, capture requirements, and produce clear functional documentation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Working knowledge of ERP governance, compliance expectations, and project management approaches.
- Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving ability, and careful attention to detail.
Preferred Experience
Experience in a complex enterprise setting or within the higher education sector would be beneficial. Exposure to Oracle Fusion SCM integrations with Finance, HR, and other enterprise applications is also preferred. Oracle Fusion SCM certification will be considered an advantage.
