The team is led by Dr. Alejandro Canonero, Director of Ecosystem Sales Strategy & Consulting Services at WarOfTheEcosystems.com and author of War of the Ecosystems. Its work blends senior-level strategy with hands-on execution, typically delivered through executive workshops, 6–12 week build sprints, and ongoing advisory support aimed at generating measurable partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue. Clients are usually CROs, alliance leaders, and founders looking to shift from ad hoc partnerships to a scalable, platform-led advantage.
Role Summary
This remote consulting role is centered on shaping, evaluating, and improving AI-enabled strategies that accelerate partner-led growth for AI, cloud, and SaaS businesses. The consultant will review AI and data ecosystems, identify patterns in partner and revenue information, and recommend machine learning and NLP approaches that strengthen attribution, forecasting, and co-sell execution. The position also involves working with client teams across sales, marketing, product, and alliances to convert business priorities into practical AI use cases, define success metrics, and support implementation planning. In addition, the role includes preparing polished client-facing materials, contributing to workshops and build sprints, and keeping up with developments in AI, data science, and hyperscaler marketplace capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Assess AI and data ecosystems to uncover opportunities for partner-led growth.
- Analyze partner, revenue, and ecosystem data to identify meaningful patterns and trends.
- Design and refine machine learning and NLP solutions that improve forecasting, scoring, attribution, and co-sell motions.
- Work with sales, marketing, product, and alliance stakeholders to turn business goals into concrete AI use cases.
- Define KPIs and help build implementation roadmaps aligned to client objectives.
- Develop clear documentation and client-ready deliverables.
- Support executive workshops, build sprints, and advisory engagements.
- Stay informed on new advances in AI, data science, and hyperscaler marketplace offerings.
Requirements
- Strong ability to recognize patterns and interpret data in partner performance, revenue streams, and ecosystem behavior.
- Practical experience with machine learning for forecasting, scoring, and optimization use cases.
- Working knowledge of natural language processing for extracting insights from unstructured sources such as partner communications, marketplace listings, and enablement content.
- Consulting strengths including stakeholder management, structured problem solving, and the ability to explain complex AI topics in business language.
- Experience applying AI in B2B SaaS, cloud, or partner ecosystem settings.
- Proficiency with common analytics and ML tools such as Python, SQL, and machine learning frameworks.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or similar hyperscaler marketplaces.
- Advanced degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment.
