Role Overview
Meagher's Pharmacy Group is looking for a motivated E-Commerce Assistant to join the head office team in Dublin. This position supports the daily operation of the online store, helping to keep products, promotions, content, and orders accurate, current, and commercially effective. It is a practical, detail-oriented role that contributes to a seamless shopping experience and helps drive online sales growth.
Website and Product Administration
- Add new products to the Shopify store and keep existing listings updated.
- Check that product names, descriptions, images, pricing, and barcodes remain correct.
- Help manage categories, collections, filters, and site navigation.
- Review website updates before and after changes or launches to ensure everything works as intended.
- Carry out routine testing to support a better user experience.
Promotions and Trading Support
- Assist with setting up offers such as discounts, bundles, free gifts, and similar promotions.
- Make sure promotional prices, banners, and campaign messages are accurate and published on schedule.
- Support launches for marketing activity including seasonal sales, brand-led events, and Black Friday/Cyber Monday.
- Track live promotions and flag any issues promptly.
Orders and Customer-Facing Support
- Help manage orders and resolve issues alongside customer service and warehouse teams.
- Support investigations into delivery problems, refunds, and returns.
- Keep customer information such as delivery details, FAQs, and terms and conditions current and correct.
Team Collaboration
- Work with marketing, buying, warehouse, and customer service colleagues.
- Communicate with agencies or third-party app providers when needed.
- Assist with new site functionality, system changes, and process improvements.

- Website content and product information stay accurate and regularly updated.
- Promotions go live smoothly and with few errors.
- Problems are identified early and handled quickly.
- The wider e-commerce team receives solid day-to-day trading support.
Essential Skills and Experience
This role suits someone who is highly organised, comfortable working in a fast-moving environment, and confident managing several tasks at once. Prior experience using Shopify or another e-commerce platform is important, along with strong written communication skills and a good level of digital confidence. A basic understanding of online merchandising, discounting, or promotions is also beneficial. Experience from retail, pharmacy, beauty, or health sectors would be an advantage.
