Job description
Company Overview
22 Management is a prominent Australian talent agency working with a broad mix of public figures, broadcasters, entertainers, writers, content creators, and digital influencers. Established in 2003 by Sean Anderson, the business draws on his background at IMG, where he worked as both a lawyer and manager for some of the country’s most recognised names. The agency is recognised for its customised, strategic style of talent representation and for helping clients build sustainable careers. Its focus is on long-term partnerships, strong commercial outcomes, and support across both traditional and digital media.
Joining the team means becoming part of a workplace that values professionalism, integrity, and collaboration, with a strong focus on client success.
Role Overview
This full-time Talent Manager position is based in Sydney, New South Wales, and follows a hybrid working pattern with a combination of office and remote work. The role centres on managing a client portfolio, handling day-to-day needs, negotiating agreements, and coordinating commercial, media, speaking, and content-related opportunities.
Key Duties
- Take ownership of a portfolio of clients and support their ongoing professional needs.
- Develop and nurture relationships with clients, brands, broadcasters, publishers, platforms, and other industry partners.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities across both traditional and digital channels.
- Review, coordinate, and manage contracts, schedules, and delivery commitments.
- Ensure client obligations are completed on time and remain aligned with long-term career objectives.
- Work with internal teams on strategy, marketing, and operational support to strengthen client brand development and growth.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should bring at least 3 years of experience in talent management, artist representation, account management, or a similar role within media, entertainment, or influencer marketing. The position calls for someone who is confident in relationship management, negotiation, and commercial decision-making, with strong attention to detail and the ability to protect client interests.
Success in this role also depends on excellent organisation, time management, and the ability to juggle multiple clients, projects, and deadlines in a busy environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with a professional and inclusive manner.
Familiarity with digital media, social platforms, and influencer or creator ecosystems will be useful, and comfort working with analytics and campaign performance data is an advantage. A proactive, practical, and solutions-oriented mindset is important, as is the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a hybrid team.
Education
A tertiary qualification in business, law, communications, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Relevant equivalent experience will also be considered.
