About the Role

This is a hands-on Agile Delivery Manager opportunity within a corporate technology function that is undergoing a significant transformation in its operational methods. You will be an integral part of a cross-functional delivery team, responsible for the complete delivery of corporate technology projects. These projects will cover areas such as procurement, finance, HR, and risk platforms. Concurrently, you will be instrumental in fostering genuine change adoption within the team. This position requires more than just coordination; you will be a catalyst for challenging established practices, building robust delivery processes, and empowering teams to embrace new ways of working. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, assertive, and possess a strong commercial acumen, capable of driving change effectively without being overly prescriptive, leading by example rather than through authority.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of corporate technology initiatives throughout their entire lifecycle, from initial conception and scope definition to implementation, vendor management, testing coordination, and successful go-live. Ensure all deliveries meet established time, quality, and budget targets.
  • Lead and facilitate Agile delivery ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Cultivate an environment of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement within the delivery team.
  • Champion change adoption and integrate new working methodologies across the team. Identify and address resistance, provide coaching to individuals, and collaborate with stakeholders to build sustainable delivery capabilities rather than mere short-term compliance.
  • Proactively manage and mitigate delivery risks, issues, and escalations. Maintain clear and consistent reporting cadences, providing leadership with accurate and timely updates on initiative progress and any identified blockers.
  • Work closely with technical leads, solution architects, business analysts, and release managers to coordinate cross-functional delivery activities and maintain project momentum, especially when navigating complex interdependencies.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in managing the complete delivery lifecycle of corporate technology implementations, including vendor management, test planning, and go-live coordination within complex organizational structures. Prior exposure to finance, HR, procurement, or risk platforms is highly desirable.
  • A strong background in Agile delivery, supported by current certification (such as PMI-ACP, SAFe 6 Scrum Master, DASM/DASSM, or a comparable qualification). Demonstrated success in facilitating Agile ceremonies and instilling delivery discipline in teams transitioning to new operational models.
  • Demonstrated ability to actively participate in change adoption initiatives, with the capacity to coach, challenge, and motivate team members through evolving delivery practices without relying solely on formal authority.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the confidence to present complex delivery status updates clearly to senior management and the assertiveness to escalate risks and ensure team accountability for commitments.
  • Experience within investment banking, financial services, or similarly regulated and complex industries is considered an advantage. A working knowledge of managed services performance reporting and established delivery governance frameworks is also beneficial.
