Your focus will be on building lasting relationships, protecting retention, and spotting growth opportunities. The position blends account management, renewals, sales assistance, and commercial operations, giving you broad responsibility and room to work independently from the start.

You will work closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams to create smooth commercial processes and support business growth. The environment is fast-moving and remote-first, with strong use of data, technology, and process improvement. This role is well suited to someone commercially minded who enjoys managing complex accounts, strengthening client relationships, and supporting cloud and SaaS-based business growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for a set of customer accounts and act as the main contact through the full lifecycle, from qualification and pricing to quoting, negotiation, contract handling, renewals, and expansion.
  • Build and apply account engagement plans based on customer value, risk level, and growth potential while keeping account handling efficient at scale.
  • Improve retention and customer satisfaction by uncovering upsell and cross-sell opportunities through usage patterns, customer feedback, and business analysis.
  • Support the renewal pipeline across a wider customer base to maintain continuity, protect revenue, and manage renewal risks early.
  • Partner with sales teams on larger opportunities by providing commercial input, pricing support, documentation, and vendor-related guidance.
  • Create and maintain standardized offers, pricing structures, and packaged solutions that align with business goals and vendor requirements.
  • Prepare and track commercial paperwork such as quotations, order forms, contracts, statements of work, and related agreements.
  • Contribute to presales work including proposal creation, opportunity qualification, solution packaging, and commercial scoping.
  • Coordinate with technology vendors and partners on pricing programs, incentives, approvals, licensing conditions, and other commercial opportunities.
  • Interpret complex pricing logic, licensing structures, and vendor policies into clear recommendations for both customers and internal colleagues.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in account management, customer success, renewals, sales support, or a similar client-facing commercial position.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage customer relationships and commercial outcomes from first contact through renewal and expansion.
  • Hands-on experience with pricing conversations, quotations, negotiations, contract workflows, and customer retention efforts.
  • Strong planning and organization skills, with the ability to juggle a high-volume portfolio and prioritize competing demands.
  • Exposure to technology, cloud offerings, SaaS products, licensing structures, or partner ecosystems is highly valued.
  • Experience using CRM systems, spreadsheets, reporting tools, and data-based decision-making methods.
  • Very good written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities and the ability to work across sales, finance, operations, and external partner teams.
  • Analytical thinking with the ability to spot risks, opportunities, and ways to improve processes.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously in a fully remote setup.
  • Interest in automation, operational efficiency, and using technology to improve workflows and customer experience.

Perks and benefits

  • Fully remote role with the freedom to work from anywhere in Europe.
  • Permanent full-time employment with the chance to contribute immediately to an established portfolio.
  • High ownership and decision-making freedom across customer accounts and commercial activities.
  • Exposure to major global cloud and technology ecosystems, including vendor and partner programs.
  • Direct collaboration with international customers and cross-functional teams.
  • An existing portfolio, renewal pipeline, and commercial framework are already in place, enabling quick impact.
  • A dynamic, entrepreneurial culture that values initiative, accountability, and measurable results.
  • Good scope for learning, career growth, and professional progression as the company expands.
  • Collaborative team environment centered on innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.
  • An AI-enabled workplace that supports automation and smarter ways of working to boost productivity.
