Job description

Overview

This project-based opportunity links subject-matter specialists with AI work for major technology clients. The focus is on checking, scoring, and refining AI systems rather than joining as a permanent employee.

What You May Do

  • Review automated auto-insurance claim outcomes for correctness, proper coverage handling, and compliance with regulations.
  • Create first notice of loss (FNOL) examples that include intentional conflicts, misleading documents, and outdated paperwork to assess how resilient the AI agent is.
  • Draft and assess fraud-detection cases using structured reason codes such as delayed reporting, a recently issued policy, or inconsistent damage details for SIU escalation.
  • Develop subrogation scenarios using state negligence frameworks, including comparative and contributory rules, and estimate recovery chances.
  • Record test cases in a clear format with the right answers, policy references, and payout calculations.

Ideal Background

This role is suited to professionals from insurance claims, legal services, or other financial services areas who are comfortable with part-time, non-permanent project work. Strong written English is important, and the work requires solid practical knowledge of claims and insurance decision-making.

Eligibility and Qualifications

  • A degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related subject is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in insurance, claims, legal, or financial services is expected.
  • Recent or current experience in claims adjusting or a closely related role is highly relevant.
  • Knowledge of auto insurance coverage decisions, state negligence rules, and adjuster authority-limit practices is important.
  • Credentials such as AIC, CPCU, CIFI, or SCLA are a plus, although strong hands-on experience can also make a candidate suitable.
  • Applicants must have strong written English at C1 level or above.
  • CVs should be submitted in English, along with the applicant’s English proficiency level.

How the Project Works

The process is straightforward: apply, complete the qualification steps, join a project, carry out the tasks, and receive payment.

Time Commitment

During active project periods, the expected workload is approximately 10 to 20 hours per week. This is only an estimate and is not a guaranteed number of hours.

Compensation

Contributors may earn up to the equivalent of USD 60 per hour, depending on experience, quality, and speed of work. Pay can vary from one project to another based on scope, complexity, and expertise required.

Additional Information

This opportunity is project-based rather than permanent employment.
