Job description
Role overview
Elios AI is seeking a Chief Transformation Officer to lead enterprise value creation for a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification. The company supports highly regulated, real-money industries by certifying the technology that underpins those markets. It was founded and scaled by its founder, is now supported by a global private equity investor, and the founder-CEO remains in place to guide the next stage of growth.
This position serves as the CEO’s closest operational partner. The role is focused on initiatives that improve EBITDA and enterprise value, including pricing, AI, cost efficiency, and the operating discipline needed to run a founder-led organization like a mid-sized PE-backed business. It is a practical, execution-heavy leadership role rather than a presentation or advisory-only seat.
For an operator who wants meaningful P&L influence early, along with direct access to the CEO and the board, this is a high-impact opportunity.
Location, type, and experience
Work location is New York metro or Las Vegas, NV. The position is full time and on-site. The expected experience level is 10 to 15+ years.
Compensation is competitive and includes equity.
What you will own
- Serve as the CEO’s main partner on value creation, taking responsibility for initiatives that materially affect business performance.
- Shape and execute pricing strategy across the testing and certification portfolio.
- Develop the company’s AI roadmap, identifying ways AI can accelerate testing, improve decisions, and reduce operating costs.
- Drive cost-efficiency efforts while maintaining the service quality clients rely on.
- Strengthen processes, reporting, and operating cadences so the organization runs with the discipline expected of an institutional business.
- Work with the deal team and board to build the value-creation plan and measure results against the investment thesis.
Background and qualifications
- 10 to 15+ years of experience across operations, strategy, or value creation, ideally combining hands-on operating experience with top-tier strategy consulting or private equity exposure.
- Prior work in testing, inspection, and certification, or in business services and IT services where the offering is a technology-enabled service.
- Demonstrated success in implementing pricing, cost, and process improvements that produced measurable business results.
- Comfort operating inside a founder-led environment that is in the process of becoming more structured and institutionalized.
- Strong practical understanding of how AI can reshape a services business, beyond surface-level familiarity.
- Ability to be based in, or spend substantial time in, the New York metro area or Las Vegas area.
Why this opportunity stands out
You would be joining a business that has become a quiet global benchmark in its category and is now backed by institutional capital with a mandate to scale further. The founder remains actively involved, giving the incoming leader direct exposure to the person who built the company, while also introducing the rigor and structure of a modern PE-owned organization.
The scope is broad, the access to leadership is direct, and the impact is visible in business outcomes. For the right operator, this can be a defining career move and an opportunity to build the value-creation engine rather than merely advise on it.
