About the Employer
Wynn Al Marjan Island is preparing to open in the United Arab Emirates in 2027 as a premium beachfront destination designed for guests seeking both leisure and entertainment. The integrated resort, located under 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, is being developed on an island in the Arabian Gulf and will feature 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, a nightclub, and a five-star spa.
Role Overview
The resort is looking for a Butler to join its Butler Services team. This role focuses on delivering refined, personalized support to VIP guests while maintaining the highest standards of luxury hospitality.
Guest Service and Interaction
- Receive VIP guests with warmth and ensure service remains discreet, attentive, and personalized.
- Assist with luggage, including packing and unpacking tasks carried out to luxury service standards.
- Lead suite introductions so guests are comfortable and fully oriented to their accommodation.
- Manage guest requests, preferences, and reservations accurately and with a polished approach.
- Stay ahead of guest needs and take initiative to improve their overall experience.
Suite Preparation and Daily Operations
- Set up VIP suites in advance of arrival in line with luxury and Forbes-level expectations.
- Carry out thorough pre-arrival inspections and escalate any concerns without delay.
- Ensure VIP pantries and service spaces are always tidy, well arranged, and fully stocked.
- Keep guest preference records current and precise.
- Complete operational checklists and shift handovers in a professional manner.
Food and Beverage Assistance
- Be familiar with the resort’s dining venues and confidently guide guests with recommendations.
- Make sure in-room dining requests are handled accurately, promptly, and with refined presentation.
Departure Support
- Oversee smooth departures, including coordination with bell services and transport arrangements.
- Perform final suite inspections to confirm no guest items are left behind.
Professional Conduct and Team Collaboration
- Handle guest issues carefully, privately, and with a sense of urgency.
- Work closely with other departments to deliver a seamless guest journey.
- Represent company standards, take part in training sessions, and maintain an immaculate appearance.
Health, Safety, and Sustainability
- Comply with all hygiene and safety requirements at all times.
- Support initiatives related to cleanliness, safety, and sustainability.
Candidate Profile
- At least 5 years of experience in hospitality or luxury guest services within a 5-star setting, with a minimum of 3 years specifically in VIP service roles.
- Strong command of MS Office and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and VIP-level customer service skills.
- Fluency in at least two languages.
- Dependable, discreet, trustworthy, and self-assured.
- Well-presented, engaging, courteous, and naturally guest-oriented.
- Able to solve problems effectively and stay calm under pressure.
- Flexible, team-oriented, and quick to adapt in a busy luxury environment.
