Role overview

In this Business Expert role, you will support business customers by spotting opportunities, suggesting suitable solutions, anticipating future needs, and helping close sales. You will rely on your understanding of market trends, Apple products and services, and third-party technologies to shape business-focused solutions that fit each customer’s goals.

This is a high-performing sales position for someone with strong interpersonal influence skills who can also act as a trusted reference for the wider store team, helping make Apple Retail Business part of the whole store experience.

What you will do

  • Build and develop relationships with business customers by demonstrating Apple technology and showing how Apple and third-party solutions can support their operations and improve experiences for their customers and staff.
  • Engage proactively with Apple Retail Business customers, deliver strong service, uncover their needs, identify buying opportunities, present relevant products and services, and guide them on purchasing options.
  • Act as a knowledgeable point of contact and a mentor for store colleagues on business customer requirements and solutioning.
  • Work with different teams across the store during business sessions, briefings, workshops, and events, recommending tailored offerings that match customer needs.
  • Create long-term business relationships through consistent outreach, useful guidance, thoughtful recommendations, and high-quality service.
  • Keep business customer contact and relationship details updated in the CRM tool so the store has accurate business intelligence.
  • Take on additional store duties when needed, including customer service and support in other areas of the store.
  • Help maintain an inclusive workplace by respecting differences and staying curious about learning from others.
  • Demonstrate Apple’s commitment to inclusion and diversity in everyday work.

Minimum qualifications

  • You must be able to work according to business needs, which may include nights, weekends, and public holidays, and you should reliably attend scheduled shifts in line with local laws and any approved accommodations.
  • Prior experience in retail, sales, or similar work is required.
  • Hands-on experience with Apple products, services, and solutions is required.

Preferred qualifications

  • A proven history of strong performance and measurable results is preferred.
  • You should be able to communicate clearly and adjust your style to suit different audiences.
  • You should be comfortable working in a fast-moving environment and making quick decisions, including under pressure and tight timelines.
  • Strong relationship-building ability with internal teams and external customers, including business owners and executives, is preferred.
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and responsiveness to customer needs are important.
  • Deep familiarity with Apple products and services, both in-store and online, plus knowledge of business solutions and industry trends, is desirable.
  • Ability to learn and use new tools and systems efficiently is preferred.
