Role overview
This role sits within PepsiCo’s brand design team and focuses on delivering end-to-end design work for global food and beverage portfolios. The position calls for someone who can move confidently from early ideas to polished execution, using design thinking throughout the process. You will help shape brand and packaging solutions, create strong visual systems, and work with both in-house and external creative partners as needed. The role also requires the ability to sketch ideas clearly and explain creative thinking to others.
What you will do
- Develop brand and packaging design work for PepsiCo’s global food and beverage brands.
- Contribute to 360-degree brand identities across packaging, graphics, and other customer touchpoints.
- Take part in ideation, concept development, refinement, and final design delivery.
- Turn strategic briefs into effective visual concepts.
- Create layouts, illustrations, brand elements, and graphic systems.
- Work across a range of styles, media, and formats.
- Collaborate with innovation, design strategy, industrial design, and other cross-functional partners.
- Support front-end innovation and early concept exploration.
- Use sketching to develop and communicate ideas.
- Create storyboards, transitions, and visual journeys across touchpoints.
- Research complex subject matter to guide creative direction.
- Help define visual treatments and design approaches.
- Keep projects on track with respect to timeline, scope, and budget.
- Work directly and, where needed, through internal or external design resources.
- Deliver clean, production-ready design outputs that tell a clear visual story.
What we are looking for
- A BA or MA in Design, or an equivalent level of relevant experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in packaging design and brand design, including 360-degree identity work.
- A solid grasp of graphic design, along with a basic understanding of industrial design.
- Strong sketching ability and practical techniques for idea generation and concept communication.
- Experience working collaboratively across functions in an innovation and design environment.
- The ability to build ideas together with a team and contribute in a cooperative setting.
- Technical strength in expressing ideas visually across different media.
- Storyboarding capability, including planning flows, transitions, and movement.
- Illustration and layout skills across multiple visual styles.
- Research, direction-setting, and project management awareness to support timely, budget-conscious delivery.
- A motivated, passionate, and highly creative mindset.
