Job description

About the Role

This position supports the Entertainment function within a large integrated resort, handling both day-to-day operations and administrative coordination. The role helps deliver major live shows, VIP activities, and special events while ensuring work is aligned with the resort’s standards and business goals. It calls for strong coordination, precision, and the ability to work effectively with multiple internal teams and outside partners.

Marketing and Campaign Coordination

  • Work with Marketing, Communications, Social Media, internal teams, and external event promoters to plan and roll out promotional campaigns for shows and entertainment programs.
  • Gather and organize marketing materials for publishing on Entertainment social channels, making sure the content is accurate, timely, and consistent with the brand.
  • Draft detailed briefs for digital creative work, social media assets, and other promotional collateral.
  • Review campaign results, identify issues or improvement areas, and share observations with Marketing so reach and engagement can be improved.
  • Keep abreast of trends in entertainment, hospitality, and social media to contribute ideas for campaign planning and activation.
  • Support live activations, artist content coordination, and post-campaign reporting when needed.

Event Planning and Delivery

  • Assist with sourcing, booking, scheduling, contracting, and managing artists and special event needs for the Sands Live Concert Series, casino private events, and seasonal or high-profile occasions such as Chinese New Year, Christmas, red carpet events, and movie premieres.
  • Act as the event lead for assigned Marina Bay Sands events under the direction of senior Entertainment management, ensuring seamless on-site delivery.
  • Coordinate requirements with teams such as Technical Production, Accommodation, Food & Beverage, Transportation, BOH/FOH, and Ticketing.
  • Partner with Legal and Procurement to prepare, review, and finalize artist agreements while following internal approval processes.
  • Monitor contract progress, approvals, and important deadlines, and escalate concerns where delays or risks arise.
  • Make sure events follow relevant licensing rules, safety requirements, and internal operating standards.

Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative assistance to the Entertainment leadership team, including calendar coordination, documentation, and reporting.
  • Support budget monitoring, invoice handling, and procurement submissions tied to entertainment activities.
  • Keep organized records of artist contracts, event arrangements, and department files.
  • Help prepare post-event reports and support debrief sessions when required.
  • Maintain trackers for event progress, budgets, forecasts, and approvals to aid operational planning.

Requirements

  • A degree in Events Management, Arts & Entertainment, Marketing, or a closely related discipline is required.
  • Three to five years of relevant experience in event marketing, event coordination, or entertainment is preferred.
  • Applicants with strong and substantial experience may be considered for a more senior position.
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Xiaohongshu is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected; experience with project management tools or basic technical drawings is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational ability, multitasking capability, and keen attention to detail are essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills, are needed.
  • Must be comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, depending on event requirements.
  • Experience in a matrixed, fast-moving, or highly regulated environment will be an advantage.
