Role Overview
KPMG is seeking motivated professionals to join its Asset Management Solution team within Advisory. The team works with government, infrastructure, and asset-heavy organizations to solve complex challenges across both public and private sector environments.
The role sits in a rapidly expanding practice with exposure to major finance and infrastructure portfolios spanning Transport, Power & Utilities, Defense, and Oil & Gas. It offers the opportunity to contribute to global asset management work covering strategy, operations, compliance, and assurance.
What the Team Delivers
- Designing operating models and supporting business transformation initiatives
- Building strategic asset investment plans and assisting with business planning
- Running efficiency programs focused on both capital and operating costs
- Strengthening asset and portfolio resilience, including maintenance planning
- Supporting compliance with asset accounting standards and related requirements
- Performing internal assurance reviews and peer checks on critical business processes
- Providing investor assurance on asset performance and supporting transaction due diligence
Project Delivery Expectations
- Work with colleagues and clients across all levels to shape practical solutions to business problems
- Prepare high-quality, client-ready presentations, documents, and spreadsheets
- Own individual workstreams or contribute to larger workstreams under the direction of workstream leads
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with clients while representing KPMG professionally
- Help build a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented culture
- Support proposal writing and bid preparation for business development efforts
- Keep learning continuously and stay current with technical best practices and industry developments
Candidate Profile
- Prior involvement in implementing or upgrading Enterprise Asset Management systems
- Working knowledge of the ISO 55000 asset management standard
- Proven experience in asset-intensive industries, either in consulting or in-house roles, improving operations through established methods
- Strong motivation, initiative, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment
- Energy and commitment to contribute meaningfully to client engagements
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work well within diverse teams
- Comfort with ambiguity and changing client priorities
- Understanding of business operations issues in Telecoms, Transport, Power & Utilities, Defense, and Oil & Gas
- Ability to assess risks at both enterprise and asset-portfolio levels
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
- A first-class or 2.1 degree in a relevant discipline
