2D Animator (Krita)

Overview

This contract opportunity is for a 2D Animator with strong expertise in Krita. The role is fully remote and pays between $20 and $70 per hour, with a weekly commitment of 10 to 40 hours.

What you’ll do

• Create polished 2D illustrations, design assets, and visual elements using Krita.
• Work confidently with Krita’s brushes, layers, and vector features to build high-quality outputs.
• Develop straightforward 2D animation sequences and organize project files within Krita.
• Manage tasks through the full project workflow so deliverables are completed on time and to brief.
• Communicate effectively in writing and speaking to share ideas, updates, and feedback.
• Use artistic domain knowledge to help improve and train AI models for creative tasks.

What we’re looking for

• Hands-on experience using Krita, including its brush, layer, and vector tools.
• A strong portfolio showing 2D illustration and graphic design work, with clear artistic skill.
• Comfort working through complete project workflows in Krita.
• Ability to produce simple 2D animations in Krita.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with a careful and detail-focused approach.
