About the Role
At Amazfit, product design and technology are developed in tandem. The team builds smart wearables that combine refined aesthetics, people-first functionality, and advanced innovation, spanning performance-focused sports watches as well as lifestyle products that reflect individual style. The overall goal is to support healthier and more connected lives through products that feel intuitive, look polished, and operate seamlessly.
You will be part of a design team that values imagination, precision, and technical collaboration as it shapes the next generation of wearables.
What You Will Do
- Turn ideas into production-ready concepts for upcoming wearable products that contribute to Amazfit’s design language.
- Work closely with product management, UX, engineering, and marketing teams to move concepts from early exploration to launch.
- Develop compelling concepts using sketching, 3D modelling, and visual storytelling.
- Refine CMF, ergonomics, and manufacturability details while balancing creativity with practical execution.
- Partner with mechanical and manufacturing teams to preserve design intent throughout production.
- Investigate emerging materials, surface treatments, and market trends to keep products current and distinctive.
- Communicate concepts effectively through visuals, mockups, and prototypes.
- Help shape Amazfit’s design identity and broader product direction.
What We Are Looking For
- At least 5 years of experience in industrial or product design, ideally with wearables, consumer electronics, or lifestyle products.
- A portfolio that demonstrates strong creative thinking, design sensitivity, and work that is ready for manufacturing.
- Hands-on proficiency with SolidWorks, Creo or Rhino, KeyShot, and Adobe Creative Cloud tools.
- Solid knowledge of CMF, DFM, and the realities of mass production.
- A strong aesthetic sense, including the ability to contribute to female-oriented products such as rings or jewellery-related concepts.
- Prior exposure to jewellery design is strongly preferred.
- A proactive, open mindset and genuine enthusiasm for design innovation.
- Comfort working in a cross-functional, collaborative environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or an equivalent qualification.
Bonus Experience
- Background in designing wearables or sports-oriented products.
- Exposure to graphic, motion, or interaction design.
- Understanding of UI/UX principles.
