Role Overview
This part-time, on-site Graphic Designer position is based in Boston, MA with Ateeca Inc. The role focuses on producing visually compelling print and digital design assets, supporting inclusive communications, and coordinating with outside vendors to keep projects on schedule and aligned with program goals.
Core Responsibilities
- Design brochures, booklets, banner advertisements, billboards, and video-related graphics using Adobe Creative Cloud tools, especially InDesign and Illustrator.
- Create marketing and outreach materials that speak to culturally diverse audiences, including layouts that can be adapted into as many as nine languages.
- Work with the state procurement system to request vendor bids, manage project timelines, review proofs, and assess the quality and reliability of printing and translation partners.
- Keep design files well organized and partner with state and local WIC teams to make sure all creative work supports program priorities and brand standards.
- Develop presentation materials and conference collateral, and assist project managers with technical design needs.
Candidate Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of hands-on professional experience in graphic design.
- Advanced working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator is required.
- Experience handling print production, vendor bidding processes, and multilingual page layouts.
- Strong organization skills for managing design assets and a portfolio that shows work created for diverse audiences.
