Overview
Begin your career with U-Haul by joining as a Storage Facility Housekeeper where you will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the facility to ensure a welcoming environment for customers and staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, and mopping in storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other facility areas.
- Handle trash disposal duties efficiently to maintain cleanliness.
- Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies, placing orders when necessary.
- Carry out additional assignments as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong organizational skills to maintain efficient operations.
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn new tasks and procedures.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Work includes exposure to moderate risks requiring safety measures such as protective gear including masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.
- Job demands physical activity including standing for extended periods, moving outdoors, reaching objects at different heights, and handling equipment weighing up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
