Security Supervisor (STARS Lead)

This full-time position based in Dublin involves managing front of house security operations with professionalism and vigilance.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the front of house security team, ensuring strict adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Verify that all staff are correctly uniformed and equipped each day for their duties.
• Provide thorough training, identify skill gaps, and organize supplemental training for team members.
• Delegate tasks under management guidance and ensure their thorough completion.
• Respond promptly to all incidents and maintain accurate reporting.
• Manage security equipment usage, monitor functionality, and report any defects as per policy.
• Offer ongoing support and guidance to the security personnel.
• Handle initial responses to security incidents, complaints, and concerns, escalating as necessary.
• Assist in developing and implementing service delivery plans.
• Promote a positive image of both Securitas and the client, embodying core values consistently.
• Maintain and update all security-related documentation including procedures, manuals, logs, and checklists.
• Provide administrative assistance including report compilation and meeting documentation.
• Work independently when necessary, supporting decision-making with accurate information.
• Foster team member upskilling and assist management with various requests.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of high school education or equivalent; professional experience may substitute educational requirements.
• At least five years of frontline security, customer service, military, or law enforcement experience pertinent to front of house operations.
• Preferred: Completion of Securitas STARS front of house training.
• Preferred: Three years of supervisory experience in security operations or related areas.
• Preferred: Experience responding to security-related audits.

Working Conditions

• Autonomous work with occasional high-pressure situations.

• Flexibility to work extended hours as operational needs dictate.
• Handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary of €47,000.
• Standard 36-hour workweek with possibility of up to 48 hours.
