Role Overview
The Deli Assistant is charged with crafting top-quality hot and cold deli offerings while placing customer satisfaction as the utmost priority.
Candidate Profile
- HACCP training is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in customer service is beneficial
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and handle multitasking in a high-paced work environment
- Enthusiasm for food and motivating shoppers
Key Responsibilities
- Embody Centra's brand values: pride, energy, imagination, and community focus
- Prepare orders from all fresh food sections, including sandwich and roll making, serving hot dishes, and slicing meats using portion controls
- Cook, prepare, and present food items throughout the daily schedule
- Maintain exemplary standards of the food counter displays at all times
- Express a passion for quality foods by sharing recipes, knowledge, and recommendations with customers
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and promptly following store policies
