The Deli Assistant is charged with crafting top-quality hot and cold deli offerings while placing customer satisfaction as the utmost priority.

HACCP training is preferred but not mandatory
Strong communication skills
Experience in customer service is beneficial
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and handle multitasking in a high-paced work environment
Enthusiasm for food and motivating shoppers

Prepare orders from all fresh food sections, including sandwich and roll making, serving hot dishes, and slicing meats using portion controls
Cook, prepare, and present food items throughout the daily schedule
Maintain exemplary standards of the food counter displays at all times
Express a passion for quality foods by sharing recipes, knowledge, and recommendations with customers
Handle customer inquiries professionally and promptly following store policies
