Role Overview
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will lead your department team, ensuring smooth daily operations such as staff scheduling and inventory management. You'll actively engage in sales as a motivating example to your team and oversee that task delegation and priorities are maintained. Part of your responsibility includes implementing visual merchandising guidelines to keep the department appealing and well-organized for customers. Additionally, fostering, developing, and providing feedback to team members in collaboration with the Store Manager will be key to your role.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Completion of a commercial apprenticeship, preferably in fashion retail.
- Several years of professional experience within textile retail.
- Prior leadership experience as a team leader, deputy team leader, or department/floor manager.
- Strong organizational skills coupled with a strong customer focus.
- Confident demeanor, along with excellent communication and motivational abilities capable of inspiring others with new ideas.
