Role Overview
This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who excel at organization and attention to detail, and who are motivated by driving projects towards successful completion. As a Project Planner I at Resolian, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating scientific projects from their beginning stages through to completion. This position offers a valuable stepping stone for early-career professionals aspiring to develop a career in project management within the life sciences sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing client-driven scientific projects from initiation to delivery.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including agendas, minutes, action items, and regular updates.
- Track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely progression.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to facilitate efficient study start-ups and project workflows.
- Update and manage project schedules, trackers, and project management tools to keep information accurate and current.
- Coordinate between laboratory operations, finance, sales, and project management teams to provide cohesive support across functions.
- Address client inquiries and requests by liaising with internal departments to devise suitable resolutions.
- Communicate project developments transparently to all stakeholders and update on progress regularly.
- Identify changes in project scope and work with proposal and project teams to update Statements of Work accordingly.
- Collaborate with finance and lab teams to ensure accurate and prompt invoicing aligned with project milestones.
- Verify project completion status, pricing details, and billing accuracy within project management systems.
- Maintain comprehensive project records ensuring they are complete and audit-ready.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, quality standards, and timelines throughout project execution.
- Develop familiarity with industry regulations such as GLP, GCP, OECD standards, and 21 CFR Part 11.
- Support adherence to departmental procedures and safety guidelines including GMP and biosafety protocols.
- Participate in initiatives aimed at improving project execution efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Take on additional tasks and special projects as needed.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Biological Sciences, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- 0 to 2 years’ experience in project coordination, management, laboratory operations, or related areas.
- Excellent organizational capabilities with a strong eye for detail.
- Proficient written and oral communication skills.
- Adept at managing multiple tasks and adjusting to dynamic environments.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and critical analysis abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within regulated laboratories, research facilities, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO sectors.
- Familiarity with project management software and database applications.
- Exposure to client support, project coordination, or scientific operational roles.
- Basic understanding of regulatory frameworks such as GLP, GCP, GMP.
