Position Summary
This Intake Coordinator role is a contract position lasting six months with potential for extension. It involves crucial data entry and coordination responsibilities to support patient access processes. Remote work from an approved U.S. location within 100 miles of Orlando, FL, is mandatory. The role demands strict adherence to HIPAA and regional privacy regulations to protect sensitive health information.
Key Responsibilities
- Review referral data promptly and accurately to enter patient details into designated systems.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth communication and project success.
- Consistently meet deadlines and maintain high standards of quality work.
- Proactively identify and solve problems as they arise in the workflow.
Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred for applicants.
- One to two years’ experience in data entry is advantageous.
Work Environment and Compliance Requirements
- Work remotely from a quiet, dedicated workspace with a closing door, separate from shared living areas.
- Maintain a high-speed, stable internet connection for all tasks.
- Ensure privacy for all phone calls involving protected health information and prevent unauthorized viewing of computer screens.
- Conduct all work via the corporate VPN; local storage or caching of sensitive data is prohibited.
- Strict compliance with HIPAA, sensitive personal information consent protocols, and applicable regional data privacy laws is required at all times.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage ranges from $20 to $26, depending on experience and qualifications.
