Position Overview
Aaratech Inc. is seeking a dedicated Data Analyst specializing in Banking and Financial Services to enhance data-driven strategies within banking operations and financial reporting. This role entails analyzing financial datasets, extracting business insights, and supporting strategic decision-making, operational improvements, and regulatory compliance.
Key Duties
- Collect, verify, and examine banking and finance-related data sets.
- Create detailed reports and interactive dashboards to track financial and operational metrics.
- Detect trends, potential risks, and growth opportunities through comprehensive data analysis.
- Work collaboratively with teams across business, finance, compliance, and technology domains.
- Maintain data quality, accuracy, and adhere to organizational data governance standards.
- Compile and deliver analytical reports and presentations to various business stakeholders.
Qualifications and Expertise
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Finance, IT, Computer Science, or allied disciplines.
- Have between 3 and 4 years of experience as a Data Analyst within banking, financial services, or similar sectors.
- Proficient in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and data visualization platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in handling financial data, business analytics, and reporting tasks.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication abilities, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Competencies
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Understanding of financial reporting procedures, risk assessment, and regulatory standards.
- Basic programming knowledge in Python or R for automating data processes and analysis.
- Experience managing large financial datasets in SQL environments.
- Certifications like Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Tableau Desktop Specialist, or Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate are advantageous.
