Work Location and Hours
This position is based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada with working hours totaling 15 per week.
About the Role
At TD Canada Trust, employees act as the frontline representatives, fostering strong and lasting relationships with customers. The role involves handling a variety of customer service interactions, providing relevant information and advice on banking services, products, and solutions tailored for current or prospective clients. It's essential to comprehend customer needs and identify opportunities to promote relevant products or direct customers to appropriate internal resources, ensuring an excellent experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and bill payments according to established procedures, industry regulations, and TD's ethical guidelines.
- Identify and assess customer needs to offer suitable banking solutions while maintaining confidentiality.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries or concerns following standard protocols, escalating when necessary.
- Achieve assigned business targets by promoting relevant banking services and completing processes efficiently and accurately.
- Engage personally with customers, providing clear guidance on banking solutions and processes.
- Contribute to a positive, diverse, and inclusive workplace by encouraging team collaboration and engaging in personal development.
- Support teammates by demonstrating respect, commitment, and communication regarding routine activities.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and suggest process improvements to boost operational excellence.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; one or more years of relevant work experience preferred.
- Possession of an undergraduate degree or equivalent is a plus.
- Strong organizational, planning, time management skills adapted to fast-paced environments.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet usage.
- Proactive attitude with an eye for detail, capable of accurately managing multiple duties and shifting priorities.
- Effective communicator, both written and verbal, capable of calmly and courteously connecting with diverse individuals.
Compensation and Benefits
The pay range for this position is between 22 and 28 Canadian dollars per hour.
