Role Overview
We are seeking a Buying Admin Assistant to join our vibrant team. In this essential support role, you will collaborate closely with Senior Buyers, aiding in administrative tasks and helping ensure smooth purchasing operations in a deadline-driven environment that values precision and strong organizational abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Track delivery progress by coordinating between suppliers and merchandising teams to meet critical deadlines.
- Assist in setting up the showroom and manage availability of all product samples.
- Provide daily administrative support to Buyers and Assistant Buyers.
- Generate Purchase Order numbers and maintain effective team communication.
- Stay informed on current and emerging trends to aid in creating mood boards and competitor analysis.
- Coordinate sample management including follow-up, labeling, and organizing in the correct locations.
- Oversee all fit approval stages aligned with the critical path and update relevant systems as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
- Prior experience in a Buying Assistant role is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Strong enthusiasm for buying and the footwear sector.
- Exceptional time management and the capacity to manage work pressure efficiently.
- Up-to-date knowledge of fashion trends and competitor actions.
- Effective communication skills.
