Role Overview
- This senior role involves establishing and growing strategic collaborations with top retail companies.
- Acts as a trusted advisor by deeply understanding retail partners' goals, challenges, and customer engagement plans to identify growth opportunities.
- Drives the adoption of cutting-edge promotional, loyalty, and customer engagement tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure and nurture new partnerships with prominent brands and retail chains.
- Spot opportunities across diverse retail sectors including supermarkets, beauty products, petrol stations, electronics, pharmacies, and sports/lifestyle stores.
- Develop strong connections with key teams such as loyalty and CRM, marketing, digital transformation, and business operations departments.
- Analyze retailer challenges and propose strategies to enhance customer acquisition, engagement, retention, basket size, and promotional effectiveness.
- Oversee all partnership phases from initial talks and contracts to implementation.
- Coordinate internal and external resources for flawless project delivery and platform integration.
- Conduct thorough business analysis of current promotional workflows to find areas for optimization.
- Lead project planning by defining goals, monitoring progress, and troubleshooting operational issues.
- Maintain ongoing partner relationships through business reviews, reporting, workshops, and strategic counsel.
- Represent the company at retail industry events, forums, and networking occasions.
Candidate Profile
- 5 to 8 years' experience in retail partnerships, modern trade, key account management, business development, or strategic sales.
- Deep insight into retail operations and customer engagement frameworks.
- Preference for candidates with experience working with large retail organizations.
- Proven success in building relationships with senior decision-makers.
- Excellent consultative selling and negotiation abilities.
- Knowledge of retail technology solutions, loyalty programs, CRM systems, e-commerce ecosystems, and digital transformation efforts.
