Work Schedule and Location
This is a full-time position working daytime shifts located at 3000 Medical Park Dr, Tampa, Florida, 33613.
Role Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage medical record requests ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Assist with end-of-day closing procedures
- Welcome and direct patients promptly and warmly
- Apply thorough understanding of department policies and procedures to support patient needs
- Answer incoming calls courteously, document interactions appropriately
- Respond professionally to patient inquiries without delay
- Collect necessary documentation such as insurance cards and photo IDs for patient encounters
- Schedule and confirm appointments ahead of time to minimize no-shows
- Retrieve and distribute relevant medical records and patient information accurately within the AMR system
- Obtain insurance authorizations and verify coverage prior to appointments, informing patients of their status
- Collect payments including copays, deductibles, prior balances, coinsurance, and self-pay amounts at service time following departmental policies
- Set up patient payment plans as required
- Process patient referrals accurately and promptly
Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Preferred: At least one year of related work experience

- Certain roles require Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting, in compliance with state laws
