Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Document Controller (m/w/d) to join our Power & Energy division at our project locations in Würzburg and Hannover. The successful candidate will ensure efficient and organized handling of project documentation, maintaining compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and track documents through their entire lifecycle: creation, approval, distribution, revision, and archiving.
- Ensure adherence to internal document policies and industry-specific regulations.
- Organize and maintain the document management system.
- Review and update documents to confirm completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
- Collaborate with multiple departments and stakeholders to collect and validate documents.
- Handle change requests, version control, and document release procedures.
- Guarantee timely provision of documentation for internal and external audits.
- Support development and implementation of improvements in the document management process.
Required Qualifications
- Completed education or degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of three years' experience in document control or document management in a comparable position.
- Strong understanding of document management standards, practices, and systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Effective communication skills and strong team orientation.
- Fluency in German and good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant document management systems.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel within Germany and internationally, as required by project and business needs.
