About the Role

Our client, a global leader specializing in information and analytics solutions, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee a significant technology transformation initiative focused on a large-scale Product Sunset Program. This role is offered as an 18-month W2 contract, including benefits and paid holidays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute comprehensive product retirement and application decommissioning projects from initiation to completion.
  • Manage project timelines, milestones, interdependencies, risks, and provide executive-level reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Technology, Operations, Compliance, and Sales to guarantee successful program delivery.
  • Evaluate and communicate the business impacts due to technology changes and product retirements.
  • Develop effective communication and change management plans to promote organizational readiness.
  • Supervise operational transition activities, handle customer communications, and manage processes after product sunset.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of 8 years of enterprise-level project or program management experience, particularly within large-scale technology initiatives.
  • Proven background in technology transformations, product sunsets, application retirements, platform migrations, or modernization projects.
  • Deep understanding of project management methodologies, governance, and change management practices.
  • Experience handling organizational change, prioritization of competing demands, and complex risk management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, Agile, Prosci, or similar credentials are advantageous.
