Job Overview
We invite motivated professionals to join our dynamic team as a Sales Manager for the corporate segment, where you will spearhead corporate sales efforts to drive revenue and foster lasting client relationships.
Primary Responsibilities
- Drive corporate revenue growth by acquiring new clients and expanding relationships with existing corporate accounts.
- Formulate and implement a proactive corporate sales strategy aligned with the hotel's broader revenue and marketing objectives.
- Identify and target potential corporate clients, establishing strong professional connections to secure business.
- Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure service excellence and maximize profitability.
- Represent the hotel at industry events, roadshows, client meetings, site inspections, and trade shows to promote the brand and generate business opportunities.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline comprising qualified leads, managing follow-ups, proposals, negotiations, and contracts until closure.
- Monitor market conditions, competitor activity, and demand trends to unearth new business avenues.
- Foster strong relationships with current corporate customers to ensure repeat business and foster account growth.
- Conduct periodic reviews, forecasting sessions, and check-ins with key accounts and stakeholders to drive sales effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with Revenue Management to optimize pricing strategies, packaging, and yield for corporate clients.
- Prepare and manage sales proposals, contracts, amendments, and ensure booking documentation is accurate and handed over to operations efficiently.
- Provide detailed and timely sales reporting including pipeline status, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior leadership.
- Coordinate with the Marketing team to devise targeted campaigns, promotions, and sales materials tailored for the corporate market segment.
- Work cross-departmentally with Food & Beverage and other units to customize offerings that appeal to corporate customers.
- Serve as a hotel ambassador at external networking events and industry associations to elevate brand presence.
- Stay updated with hospitality industry trends affecting the corporate sector and integrate such insights into strategic planning.
- Maintain professional demeanor and service excellence that aligns with the luxury standards of the hotel brand.
Qualifications and Skills
- Completion of high school diploma or university degree is required.
- Between three to five years of experience in corporate sales within a luxury hotel environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills aimed at engaging executives and decision-makers.
- Analytical and strategic thinker, highly self-driven, capable of performing effectively in a fast-paced luxury hospitality setting.
- Fluency in Arabic and experience working within the local market are essential for this role.
